At the beginning of the stay, guests sign a check-in report containing information about the condition of the accommodation and furnishings at the time of delivery.
Guests must report any damage or irregularities within 48 hours of check-in<\/strong>, otherwise they will be charged at check-out.<\/p>\n\n\n

Those who have booked for the SECOND SEMESTER<\/strong> may check in starting February 15, 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Check-in is available starting from 2:00 PM on the first day of the reservation<\/strong>, including weekends and holidays.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Guests belonging to this category must communicate their check-in date and time by writing to the Director of the Residence at least 7 days in advance respect the start date of the reservation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Check-out<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The check-out procedure includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u2013 Inspection of the accommodation by residence staff;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u2013 Signing of the check-out report by both the Residence Director and the guest;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u2013 Return of the accommodation keys.<\/p>\n\n\n

\n \n Reservation <\/button>\n <\/h2>\n \n

For all students and in the academic year 2026\/27<\/strong>, the tenancy period at the university Halls of Residence ends on July 30, 2027<\/strong>, by which date check-out must be completed and the residence vacated.<\/p>\n\n

Visiting guests may leave the residence by August 1, 2027 at 10:00 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Students\/PhD must book their check-out date by scheduling an appointment through the portal (section \u2013 Departure Date (Check-out)<\/em>) or by contacting the Direction of the Residence at least 7 days before<\/strong> departure.<\/p>\n\n

Note:<\/strong> If the guest is not present at the scheduled check-out time for inspection, the staff will proceed in their absence. Any damages or anomalies found will be charged to the guest, including extraordinary cleaning costs if necessary.

\n \n What to do <\/button>\n <\/h2>\n \n

Guests must completely vacate the accommodation and remove all personal belongings (it is not expected any return for objects left in the residence). The accommodation must be left clean (no food\/garbadge inside) and with all the appliances in working order.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Security Deposit Refund<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After completion of the check-out procedure, and if there are no outstanding payments to Politecnico di Milano, guests may request the refund of the security deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The refund is made upon request after verifying any damages to property, facilities, or furnishings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 If no damage is found, the deposit is refunded in full;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 If damages are found, the corresponding amount is deducted;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 If damages exceed the deposit, the guest must pay the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refunds are made via bank transfer within 90 days from the request, which must be submitted through the ticketing system with the subject: \u201cSecurity Deposit Refund\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Copy of the check-out report;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Copy of a valid ID or passport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All guests must having entered their bank\/postal account details in the Politecnico di Milano Online Services (Personal Page \u2192 Data \u2192 Management of Payment Method \u2192 Inserimento).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before submitting the request, students must also ensure that their Tax Code and personal residence details are already entered in their Online Services profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
