To support the Right to Study, the Politecnico di Milano offers accommodation at subsidized rates in its residence halls. Places are assigned each year through a public Call for applications<\/a>, published by June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 1349 places are available for non-resident students across the campuses of Milan, Lecco, Como, and Cremona, in single or double rooms. (as detailed in the table below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accommodation is assigned through a selection process based on merit and income requirements.<\/p>\n\n

Students ranked as beneficiaries in the final list are offered accommodation at a subsidized rate, set annually by the Lombardy Region and published as an addendum to the call. Any unassigned places after the ranking process will be made available at the full rate.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

To apply, students must:<\/p>\n\n

\u2013 Be enrolled (or intend to enroll) in the relevant academic year;<\/p>\n\n

\u2013 Be at least 18 years old at the time of check-in. Otherwise, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and provide the required documentation;<\/p>\n\n

\u2013 Have no outstanding debts with the Polytechnic;<\/p>\n\n

\u2013 Reside in a municipality from which travel time by public transport to the course location exceeds 90 minutes.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Applications must be submitted online via the university\u2019s online services. Applicants who are not yet registered must first create an account on the portal.<\/p>\n\n

During the application process, students must select one of the four campuses (Milan, Lecco, Como, Cremona). A separate ranking list is drawn up for each campus.<\/p>\n\n

For the Milan campus, applicants may indicate up to three residence preferences, in order of priority. Preferences are not binding for assignment.<\/p>\n\n

Please note: to be considered a \u201caway from home\u201d student, accommodation must be in the same campus where the course is held.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Students listed as beneficiaries are entitled to accommodation at a subsidized rate, which is deducted from their scholarship. The fee, set annually by the Lombardy Region, is the same regardless of room type.<\/p>\n\n

Accommodation must be accepted within 48 hours of the offer; otherwise, it will be considered declined.<\/p>\n\n

To confirm the assignment, students must:<\/p>\n\n

\u2013 Pay a \u20ac500 security deposit;<\/p>\n\n

\u2013 Accept the Residence Regulations and Service Charter.<\/p>\n\n

The accommodation must be occupied within 15 working days of acceptance; otherwise, it will be considered forfeited, and the relevant amount may still be deducted from the scholarship.<\/p>\n\n

Assignments are not automatically renewed: a new application must be submitted each year according to the procedures outlined in the call.<\/p>\n\n
