reservations<\/b><\/p><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><strong>Students paying full rate<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyone who has made a reservation for the WHOLE YEAR or the FIRST TERM will be able to check in from August 26th 2025; anyone who has made a reservation for the SECOND TERM will be able to check in from February 16th 2026.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guests will need to provide notice of the date on which they intend to check in on the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/polimisol.dirittoallostudio.it\/apps\/V3.1\/sol\/public\/\">portal<\/a><\/span>:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the \u2018Data di arrivo\u2019 (\u2018Check-in\u2019) section at least 7 days before they arrive.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><strong>DSU Students<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any students in receipt of DSU will need to provide notice of the date on which they intend to check in when accepting the place on the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/polimi-sol.dirittoallostudio.it\/apps\/V3.1\/sol\/public\/\">portal<\/a><\/span>:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alloggio &gt; Studenti BENEFICIARI 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Check-in times<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students may check in between Monday and Friday (excluding holidays) between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>What to bring<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to check in, students must report to the hall of residence with:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a valid identity document;<\/span><\/li><li>a passport photo;<\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for non-European Union students: passport and residence permit, receipt of application for issue or renewal of said document.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Check-in report\/inventory<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the start of their stay in the accommodation, the student must sign the check-in report\/inventory, which contains information on the state of the accommodation and the furnishings present in their assigned room, as determined at the time when they move in. The guest must report any damages, problems or discrepancies within 48 hours of checking in, otherwise they will be deemed responsible for them when checking out.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section data-particle_enable=\"false\" data-particle-mobile-disabled=\"false\" class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-7534a1e elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7534a1e\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-751b0b6\" data-id=\"751b0b6\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9094c92 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9094c92\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">CHECK-out<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b47118a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b47118a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Reservation<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For all students, the tenancy period at the university Halls of Residence ends on July 31st 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students must book their check-out date at least 15 days before they leave the accommodation by making an appointment with the Management of the Hall of Residence via email.<\/span><\/p><p>If not communicated, the date and time of check-out will be established jointly with the director of the residence.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Check-in times<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students may check out between Monday and Friday (excluding holidays) by 10:00 am.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note: If students are not present on the date booked for their check-out for the purposes of inspecting the accommodation, the staff responsible for the inspection will proceed with it in their absence &#8211; with students waiving the right to object to any findings &#8211; and, in the case of any issues or damages, students will be charged, including for the costs of any special cleaning required.<\/span><\/p><p><b>The Politecnico di Milano and the Management of the Hall of Residence decline any responsibility in the event that any student\u2019s personal belongings are damaged or missing.\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><b>What to do<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students are required to definitively remove any and all personal belongings from the accommodation.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Check-out report\/inventory<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The check-out procedure involves:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 &#8211; an inspection of the condition of the accommodation by a member of staff of the hall of residence;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; both the Manager of the Hall of Residence and the guest signing the check-out report detailing the state it is in;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; returning the keys to the accommodation.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Return of damage deposit<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the check-out procedure is complete, if the student has no outstading debt towards Politecnico di Milano, students will be able to request that their damage deposit be returned.
