Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955) was a German-born physicist. Winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921, he revolutionized theoretical physics by developing the theory of relativity. In addition to the study of physics, his interests also included philosophy and politics; thanks to his countless publications he is universally recognized as one of the greatest thinkers of the XX century. At a very young age he lived in Milan, in a period that he himself defined “the happiest of his life”.
