isaac newton

Sir Isaac Newton (1642 [Julian Calendar] – 1727) was a philosopher, mathematician and physicist. He was the son of a little landowner, he studied in Cambridge and there he worked as a professor. His debates with Leibniz and Hooke, who was the Director of the Royal Society, are well-known. He managed to find the three laws of motion and the law of universal gravitation. Thanks to his theory about the universal gravitation of the 1687 and through all the other laws of motion, he placed the foundation of the classical mechanics.
