Politecnico di Milano, in its residences located in Milan, Lecco, Como and Cremona, offers accommodation dedicated specifically to students and teaching staff with disabilities, offering them the opportunity to comfortably enjoy their university experience to the fullest in a collective setting that meets their needs.

“Leonardo da Vinci” Hall of Residence, Viale Romagna, 62 – Milan | Place in mini-apartment double room with fully-equipped bathroom and place in single room with private fully-equipped bathroom
“Pareto” Hall of Residence, Via Maggianico, 6 – Milan | Place in single room with shared fully-equipped bathroom in apartment
“Newton” Hall of Residence, Via Borsa, 25 – Milan | Place in double room with private fully-equipped bathroom
“Einstein” Hall of Residence, Via Einstein, 6 – Milan | Place in single room with shared fully-equipped bathroom in apartment
“Marie Curie” Hall of Residence, Piazzale Ferrara – Milan | Place in mini-apartment single room with fully-equipped bathroom
“Loos” Hall of Residence, Via A. Ghislanzoni, 24 – Lecco | Place in single room with private fully-equipped bathroom and place in mini-apartment double room with fully-equipped bathroom
“La Presentazione” Hall of Residence, Via Zezio, 58 – Como | Place in double room with private fully-equipped bathroom

Rates
– Users entitled to preferential-rate housing (DSU recipients): preferential rate (which is published in an integration to the DSU Call here).
– Full-rate users with certified disability ≥ 66%: preferential rate (same as DSU recepients).
– Carers for users with certified disability ≥ 66%: preferential rate (same as DSU recipients) on the condition that the carer is living in the same room.
– Users with certified disability percentage between 46% and 65%: full rate for the agreed Hall of Residence discounted by 10%.
– Users with certified disability percentage lower than 46%: full rate for the agreed Hall of Residence.
Procedure for requesting accommodation
It is possible to request an accommodation by following the procedure below:
Request submission
To request an accommodation, you must send your request to the email address multichance@polimi.it specifying the type of disability you have and attaching the relevant medical documentation. THE REQUEST FOR FIRST SEMESTER MUST BE SENT BY THE END OF MAY; FOR THE SECOND SEMESTER, BY THE END OF NOVEMBER.
Please note: Politecnico di Milano guarantees the utmost confidentiality in all these communications – which will be managed directly with the guest alone – in that they concern their medical status and the handling of the relevant documents.
Assessment interview
Once they have received all the documentation, the Multichance Service will contact the applicant to set a date for an assessment interview and will forward the request for accommodation to the Housing & Dining Unit.
Offer of accommodation
The Housing & Dining Unit will establish the accommodation setup that best suits the applicant’s needs and will send them an offer of accommodation, including all the instructions needed to proceed with the booking and confirmation of the accommodation.
