Throw batteries in the general waste is dangerous!
The heavy metals contained in them, if not correctly disposed of, endanger the health of the environment, so it’s important to collect these wastes separately.
Thanks to the project “Collection of small WEEE and waste batteries in the Politecnico di Milano” born from the collaboration of Politecnico, Centro di Coordinamento RAEE, Centro di Coordinamento Nazionale Pile e Accumulatori, Comune di Milano e AMSA, from today in many places of the University it’s possible to collect separately small electrical and electronical objects (WEEE), spent batteries and accumulators.
These separate collection new boxes, with their bright color, have reached also the residences: find them and follow the instructions to make a difference for our planet.
