This year as well, we are pleased to offer you new events dedicated to food and conviviality, organized by the Housing & Dining Unit.
In the month of May, we celebrate rice, an ingredient that continues to hold a central place on tables around the world, but with a renewed meaning: not just an everyday staple, but a concrete response to increasingly diverse dietary needs.
From plant-based bowls to traditional dishes, from meal prep to the simplest home cooking, rice naturally adapts to contemporary ways of eating. It is versatile, accessible, naturally gluten-free, and increasingly present in plant-based diets.
In Italy too, where the rice fields of the Po Valley have shaped the landscape for generations, rice tells a story that goes beyond food: it speaks of agriculture, resources, habits, and how we envision the future of what we eat.
The Housing & Dining Unit offers a range of opportunities to discover one of the most versatile and widely used ingredients in kitchens around the world, reinterpreted through creative recipes, tradition, and new trends in contemporary nutrition:
Show cooking with Pellegrini dedicated to Residence students!
